Have you ever thought that we could,
as Christians we could talk about abortion?
I have… I wonder that there are between 80,000 and 100,000 abortions performed each year in Australia and yet there doesn’t seem to be much talk about abortion in the Christian community…
That’s an awful lot of people affected by abortion in one way or another in our community. It’s a bit like what the topic of religion and politics has been in the past at the family table – a taboo subject! You just don’t talk about it to be polite.

I know it’s not often discussed but I just have this feeling there are people, especially Christians who are tired of the secrecy and fear that surrounds the thought of talking about abortion.
Maybe the tide is about to turn… and mothers, fathers, grandparents, brothers & sisters who have been quietly hurting, (and not so quietly hurting), are at the point of wanting to share their experiences with others who may be hurting as well…
Possibly there are some Christian women who are just wondering, what
other women might be thinking about the affects of abortion in our communities as well as being alarmed at the huge number of abortions performed each year in our country.
